SUNDAY BIBLE CLASS 9:30AM
On Sunday morning the Preston Road Youth Ministry gather for Bible studies that will enhance their knowledge and understanding of the Word. Often the 6th-12th grade students are divided into two classes; a Middle School class and a High School class.
SUNDAY EVENINGS 5-7PM
Sunday Evenings change each week. The purpose is to bring together our students from several different schools and communities to fellowship and build friendships as they worship together. Each month our activities vary from Dinner & Devo, Youth Lunches, and Home Invasions, to bowling, laser tag, swimming, rock climbing, service projects, broomball, and whirlyball!
WEDNESDAYS FUZE GROUPS 6:45-8PM
Each Wednesday evening our students meet in different small groups with multiple adults that teach and help them grow in a more intimate environment. We are very intentional about our time spent together, there are currently two Middle School small groups; one for guys and one for girls and two High School groups that are divided randomly.
BIG EVENTS - Throughout the year PRYM is invested in multiple retreats, trips, camps, and mission trips. Below is a brief description of our major events with their dates for 2013. You may contact John or Crysty Kimberlin to receive more details or to sign up.
PLANET WISDOM High School/February 8-9 & Middle School/February 22-23
We will be having two weekends at Planet Wisdom in 2013, one for our Middle Students and one for our High School students! Planet Wisdom is all about teenagers, and to reach them best we also provide resources for the people closest to them – their parents and youth ministers. Join us as we gain Bible wisdom on relationships! We will dive deep into the crazy, messy world of relationships; friends, parents, marriage, and Christ.
DFW GIRLS GATHERING April 5-6, 2013
The DFW Girls Gathering is a weekend event for young women in Middle School and High School to come and experience their faith through community, worship, and active teaching. Our 2nd annual gathering will be held at Preston Road Church of Christ located in the middle of Dallas. Our theme this year is MASTERPEACE. Come join us as we draw closer to our Creator this weekend and discover the peace we have as God’s creation. We will focus on Ephesians 2:10 where we learn that we are all uniquely God’s masterpieces and what it means for us to be such valued creations in Christ Jesus. In addition, we will be looking at 2 Corinthians 5 and discovering what it means to be a living Masterpeace.
PINE SPRINGS CAMP JUNE 16-22, 2013
Here it is, you have the date for camp a year in advance! Our summer camp is meant to be a week that sticks out more than any other week throughout the year. We escape the heat, electronics, and city for a literal mountain top experience in New Mexico at Camp Pine Springs. Registration ends two weeks before camp, but it is always great to be early. GUATEMALA MISSION TRIP June 30-July 6, 2013
We will venture with a High School Mission Trip to Guatemala! In Guatemala we will partner with Casas Por Cristo to build a family in need their own home! We will have the opportunity not only to provide this physical need for the family but also minister to the families nearby with love and hard work. FALL RETREAT November 2013
Preston Road Youth Ministry is coming together with Altamesa, Richardson East, and Highland Oaks Youth Ministries for one weekend during our fifth annual Fall Retreat. This weekend will be spent studying, growing, worshipping, and playing some crazy games. The retreat is for students in 6th-12th grade.
