James August
James graduated from James Madison University in 2021 with a double major in Political Science and Public Policy & Administration. While in Virginia, James worked as a Campaign Manager and Legislative Aide for a local Delegate. James met his wife, Hannah August, through a mutual friend and was lassoed to Texas. He is currently taking classes at Abilene Christian University Graduate School of Theology. The Augusts have been at Preston Road since 2023, and he has been a Youth Ministry Resident since May 2025. James is looking forward to continuing to foster meaningful and Spirit-led relationships with the middle and high school students in Preston Road Youth Ministry. In his free time, he loves to play softball, read series, and watch movies and TV shows with Hannah.
